A few practical questions.
Is this a subscription to keep using the software?
No. The one-time purchase includes perpetual use of your last entitled version. Annual Maintenance & Support is optional and starts from Year 2.
What happens if I do not renew maintenance?
You retain use of your last entitled version. Released features and enhancements are included for the first 12 months; after that, they and technical support require an active maintenance plan. Included bug and security fixes continue through month 36 from purchase regardless of renewal. After that period, receiving fixes requires an active plan.
Does source included mean ownership of Binomial?
Source code is included with the software license; intellectual property ownership is not transferred. The purchase agreement defines your license and source-code rights.
Are custom features and modifications covered?
Coverage includes new features and enhancements released for your licensed product. Custom feature development is separately scoped and quoted. Agree the supported-release policy and coverage for customer modifications in your purchase.
Who manages the deployment and updates?
Your team is responsible for hosting, operations, backups, and installing updates. Confirm the deployment requirements before purchase. Technical support is included with active Annual Maintenance & Support under agreed support hours and response terms.
